FaceFX Studio Application

Quicklanch Toolbar
Tabs
Tabs in FaceFX can be moved around by simply dragging the tab to a new location inside of the application. Certain application components (the python shell, node and curve selection widgets and additional rendering viewports) can be "torn off" the application and can exist as floating windows. Saving layouts is not possible currently but we are looking into this feature for future releases.
Quicklanch Toolbar
The quicklaunch toolbar contains 10 customizable buttons for frequently-used operations. Right-click on a button to set the icon, tooltip and command for the button.
- The icon needs to be a .ico file.
- The command can be to execute a python script (exec -f "PlayPreviousAnim.py") or to execute another FaceFX Command (saveActor -file "C:\backup.facefx").
- Hold Ctrl while pressing a number key (1-0) to trigger the keyboard shortcut corresponding to the button. The order of the number keys on the keyboard corresponds to the order of the buttons from left to right (1 is the first button on the left, 0 is the last button on the right).
- Your settings are saved in a binary file stored here: ..\My Documents\FaceFX Studio 2009\Settings\quicklaunch.cfg
